The Two Realms

Understanding how the Spiritual Realm Transforms Your Life

One of the first keys to mastering the Spiritual GPS System is understanding the unseen world--recognizing the two realms that shape our reality.

Most people only acknowledge what they can see, touch, and hear. But the truth is, there are two realms: the physical realm, which we experience with our senses, and the spiritual realm, which governs everything in the natural. If you don’t understand this reality, you’ll always struggle to activate divine power in your life.

The physical realm is the world we live in—what we can see with our eyes, touch with our hands, and hear with our ears. It consists of people, places, and things.

The spiritual realm is unseen, but it is more real than the physical. It is the realm where Yahuah (God), angels, demons, and spiritual laws operate. Everything that happens in the physical realm first takes place in the spiritual realm.

The spiritual realm controls the physical. A powerful example of this truth is found in 2 Kings 6:16-17. When the enemy’s army surrounded Elisha and his servant, the servant was terrified because, in the natural, it looked like they were outnumbered. But Elisha knew better.

"And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. And Elisha prayed, and said, Yahuah, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And Yahuah opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha." – (2 Kings 6:16-17 KJV)

The enemy’s army looked massive in the physical, but in the spiritual, Elisha saw a greater army of angels ready to fight on their behalf. The moment his servant’s spiritual eyes were opened, he realized they were never in danger—Yahuah (God) had already provided protection in the unseen realm.

Daniel 10 gives us another powerful glimpse into the spiritual realm. Daniel prayed and fasted for 21 days, seeking an answer from God. But the answer was delayed. Why? Because a demonic force in the spiritual realm was blocking the angel from delivering the answer.

"But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me..." – (Daniel 10:13 KJV)

This shows that our prayers are heard immediately, but spiritual warfare can delay the manifestation of our answers. If Daniel had given up on day 10 or 15, he might have never received his breakthrough.

Many people live their lives based on natural reality, meaning they only believe what they see. But the Bible says spiritual reality is the true reality:

"While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal." – (2 Corinthians 4:18 KJV)

Everything you see—money, sickness, relationships, circumstances—is temporary. The real battle is happening in the unseen realm. That’s why faith is so important. Faith is the ability to see beyond the natural and trust in what God is doing in the spirit.

Why should this matter to you? Well, If you don’t recognize the spiritual realm, you’ll live defeated, thinking life is just random events.

If you only operate from the physical realm, you’ll always be reacting instead of taking authority over situations.

But once you understand that everything physical has a spiritual origin, you can start praying, speaking, and acting in alignment with God’s power.

Time for you to open your spiritual eyes. Just like Elisha’s servant, many of us need our spiritual eyes opened. The more you focus on the unseen, the more you’ll walk in power. You won’t panic when life throws obstacles your way because you’ll know that the real battle—and victory—is already won in the spirit.

Now that you understand the two realms, the next step is learning how to activate divine power in your own life. Stay tuned for the next lesson!
