I know I'm not the only person who felt this way.

How about this? Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you called on God and immediately the results DID show up in your life? Has that ever happened for you? Probably not.

I know you've been told you can bring everything to God in prayer. But have any of your prayers been answered? 

Now, if you are like most people, you could probably say, in all honesty that the answer to that question is a big, fat NO!!!

You are sick and you pray to God but your sickness becomes worse.

You need money, the bills are overdue, the lights are about to go out, you don't have enough money to make it to work until pay day. You are praying for a financial blessing, but nothing happens. Your situation doesn't appear to be any better than before.

You are having problems in your relationships. You are praying for Mr. or Ms. Right, but you can't seem to find him/her. The marriage you are in is not the type of marriage you thought you would be in. You want it to change so you pray, but things simply do not get any better.

So, you start to question yourself and to question whether or not it even makes any sense to pray since it appears that your prayers fall on death ears. The circumstances of the world overwhelm you and you can't see any way out.

Yet, you continue to go to church and get motivated on Sunday so that, for at least one day during the week, you can actually "feel" like you are blessed. But the blessings don't seem to come to you.

This practice of prayer MUST work because it seems to work for some people. But it just don't work for you. The bible tells us we could have whatever we want and all we have to do is ask. Ask and it will be given unto you. Seek and ye shall find. Knock and the door shall be opened.

But you're asking, and your seeking and your knocking but God seems to be on vacation--at least when it comes to you.

I know exactly how you feel. That's exactly how I felt, too. I was having major problems in my life. Everything seems to be going to hell in a hand basket real fast and there seemed to be nothing I could do to change it. I got on my knees and prayed but God didn't seem to be able to hear me. It seemed the more I prayed, the worse my situation became. I couldn't understand why God had turned His back on me. Why was He allowing these circumstances to keep happening in my life? I read the bible. I know what God promised me as a believer. But how come He wasn't making good on His promises.

I got angry with God. I told Him off and even though that didn't help me, I somehow felt better as a person. I decided that since He choose not to help me, I wasn't going to be a follower. I simply was giving up--throwing in the towel. Prayer didn't work. That was for foolish people who could believe anything that came down the turnpike.

But you know what happened when I decided to give up? God DIDN'T give up on me. He started bringing things into my life that taught me HOW to effectively pray and what I needed to do in order to receive the blessings that were already mine. And the number one thing I had to learn to live by was FAITH. 

The bible tells us that "Faith is the substance of things hoped for--the evidence of things unseen."

Now what the heck does that mean? The "evidence" of things unseen? If it is unseen, how can there be evidence of it?

This troubled me. But I'm a person who, when troubled by something, can't give up on it, but dig deeper until I can find an answer that makes sense to me.

And that is how I discovered about FAITH. I discovered that FAITH IS the substance of things hoped for, and the evidence of things unseen. I learned that I could not live my life by the "circumstances" that I was seeing with my eyes, but that I have to live by the "WORD." I had to discover what God's truth was regarding my situation and embed His WORDS into my subconscious mind until they became REAL to me--until I DEVELOPED MY FAITH.

Once I learned to develop my faith, I started seeing "miracles" happen in my life. REAL miracles. I started seeing that EVERYTHING I asked for in prayer, manifested in my life. EVERYTHING.

God does answer prayers. But in order for Him to answer your prayers YOU MUST DEVELOP FAITH.

Wouldn't it be cool if everything you asked in prayer was answered?

Imagine being sick, doctor telling you that you have six months to live--but you decide that you will have faith that you will live and not die--AND IT WORKS.

Imagine being financially broke, but praying for abundance and prosperity, and BOOM--you suddenly find yourself exceedingly blessed with all the riches you could possibly imagine and then some.

Imagine Mr. or Ms. Right showing up in your life when you least expect it. Imagine your marriage doing a 380 and you and your spouse are madly in love, once again, best of friends, and living in marital bliss.
